They climbed the mountain from the Nepalese side, via the South Col.

Dorjee Sherpa (Nepal)

Dorjee is our longest serving leader. He has been with us from the very beginning - 1979 in fact! There is nothing he doesn't know about Nepal, and nowhere he hasn't been. If you add up the number of times he's been above 7000 metres, it totals three times higher than the ozone layer, or 150 kilometres high! You can guarantee you're in experienced hands here!

Qualifications:
Dorjee is an experienced high altitude trekker and climber.

Achievements:
Dorjee summited Manasalu (8550m) in 1974 with the Iran-Japan expedition.
