This short adventure encompasses the highlights of this fascinating country from its capital, Kathmandu, which is a major centre of Buddhism and Hinduism, to the majestic Himalaya, where we take a walk in the foothills of the Annapurnas and gaze in wonder at the snow-capped mountains. Chitwan National Park showcases the country's wildlife; a place to ride on the back of elephants and go in search of the great Indian rhino. In eight days we experience the diversity of Nepal and understand why visitors return to this incredible place time and again.

Morning visit to Pashupatinath Temple and Bodhnath Stupa. Enjoy free afternoon for further exploration. |
| Day 3 |
Fly to Pokhara – explore the old town or hire a boat on Phewa Lake. |
| Day 4 |
Mountain walk to the picturesque village of Chainabatthi, in the Annapurna region. |
| Day 5 |
Return to Pokhara. Drive to Chitwan National Park. |
| Day 6 |
Safari on elephant-back and in dugout canoes. Partake in bathing elephants. |
| Day 7 |
Morning safari before driving to Kathmandu. |
| Day 8 |
Trip ends in Kathmandu this morning (Sun). |
