Independent Adventures
Our Independent Adventures are designed for those who prefer to travel on a popular itinerary of ours with just their family or friends, rather than with other travellers. Your group of up to six people will have the services of a driver on road sections and specialist guides in each town. We'll also take care of your arrangements like your accommodation, escort to train stations and airports, and sightseeing and entrance fees.
Commencing in Delhi, we travel to the Rajasthani capital - the 'Pink City' of Jaipur. A highlight of our stay in this fascinating city is visiting the huge Amber Fort. We continue our journey to the eerie abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri before reaching Agra, where we visit one of the world’s most famous and beautiful monuments - the Taj Mahal. Agra Fort is also well worth a visit. An overnight train takes us to Varanasi, the holiest of Hindu cities jammed along the banks of the Ganges River. The river’s ghats come alive at dawn as Hindu pilgrims, many from far away, perform their rituals as the sun rises. We take a boat trip to witness this mesmerizing spectacle. The old city is a warren of alleyways and a lot of fun to explore. We then return to Delhi for some sightseeing, shopping and a final night out on the town.
