Rajasthan Experience (Family) (13 Days)

The real magic of Rajasthan can best be discovered away from the popular tourist destinations. From India's hectic capital, New Delhi, we travel to Agra and experience the marvels of the Taj Mahal before continuing to Jaipur. Our adventure includes Nimaj and Jodhpur and we also discover colourful and remote villages en route to Udaipur. After our sojourn in Rajasthan we return by train to Delhi.

Itinerary

Day 1 (Mon) Arrive in Delhi and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Drive to Agra. Visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.
Day 3 Drive to Jaipur. Afternoon free to explore.
Day 4 Visit Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar.
Day 5 Head off the beaten track to Nimaj Haveli.
Day 6 Full day in rural Nimaj to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Day 7 Drive to Jodhpur. Free afternoon.
Day 8 Visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Jeep excursion to Bishnoi village.
Day 9 Drive to Udaipur via Ranakpur temples.
Day 10 Tour of City Palace and Jagdish Temple. Afternoon free.
Day 11 Free day to explore city. Overnight train to Delhi.
Day 12 Delhi city orientation, including India Gate and Janpath Bazaar.
Day 13 Trip ends in Delhi this morning (Sat).
