Peregrine Adventures

Highlights of South America (23 Days)

Our adventure starts in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. We visit Sugar Loaf Mountain, take in the views from the statue of Christ the Redeemer and swim at Copacabana or Ipanema beach. Further south we enjoy the natural beauty of the Atlantic rainforests, the magnificent Iguazu Falls and then there are the crumbling edifices of the old Jesuit missions. Midway through our journey we arrive in magnificent Buenos Aires – birthplace of the exuberant tango. A flight across the continent brings us to Lima and then to Cusco where we have time to explore this ancient city before heading off on an amazing camping trek along old Inca pathways to the 'lost city' of Machu Picchu.
