From the fine white sands of Cancun this adventure takes us inland to explore wondrous ruins and discover the ancient world of the Maya! Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula is filled with colour and culture. We visit vibrant colonial towns, craft filled markets and the beautiful city of Merida, the state capital. At the quaint fishing village of Celestun, we take a boat ride to observe flocks of flamingos before delving into the mysteries of the ancient Mayan sites of Uxmal and Chichen Itza. Leaving the mainland behind we venture to the Caribbean islands of Holbox and Isla Mujeres, where pristine beaches and all manner of exotic birds and other creatures await. With plenty of time to relax on the beach, snorkel or partake in the many activities on offer, one thing is for sure – you and your family will not want to leave!
