Peregrine Adventures

Rhythms of South America (26 Days)

This adventure packs in some of South America's most important sights. From the coastal city of Lima we climb into the Andes to discover the ancient civilisation of the Incas. We visit their former capital of Cusco and marvel at the spectacular ruins of Machu Picchu. We will witness the sunset over stunning Lake Titicaca and explore the backstreets of Bolivia's lofty capital, La Paz. Flying to the Chilean capital of Santiago we enjoy a tour of the city and a nearby winery before continuing to picturesque Puerto Varas in the Chilean Lakes District. Using the 'Lakes Crossing' we come to Bariloche in Argentina and continue on to Buenos Aires, South America's most lively capital. Further north are the stunning Iguazu Falls and finally we come to magnificent Rio de Janeiro, home of the Samba and the sandy beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.
