    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Maun ~ Okavango Delta

On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met and transferred to your light aircraft flight into the wetlands of the north. As you start your descent for Ntswi Island there is a chance you might spot larger animals from the air, such as elephant, giraffe, buffalo and even hippopotamus. Keep an eye on the water-filled channels and sandbanks or small islands. You will be greeted by your hosts at Gunn’s Camp and taken across the wooden walkways to your deluxe Kenyan Meru-style tent. Following afternoon tea you can head out on a boat trip on the waters of the Delta. On returning to camp at sunset, you can share a drink at the bar followed by a three-course dinner.

    Day 2 - Chief ’s Island

Wake to a cacophony of bird song and the prospect of a number of activities. Explore the waterways by motorboat or mokoro (dugout canoe), take guided walks and return to camp for a swim or siesta. Mokoros are ideally suited for gliding over the shallow waters of the delta and through fields of water lilies, and a guided walk is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna of Chief ’s Island. Return to camp in the hottest part of the day for a siesta and swim then enjoy afternoon tea and another exciting activity.

Day 3~5 - Pom Pom Island

The Pom Pom area lies on the western boundary of Moremi Game Reserve, making it an exceptional place to take game drives in open 4WD vehicles. Animal movement through this area includes elephant, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, lion, cheetah, hyena and the rare Cape hunting dog. Your experienced guides have honed their eyesight and tracking skills over a lifetime of living in the bush, and will do their utmost to provide exceptional wildlife sightings. At the end of each day you’ll come home to drinks around the campfire followed by the evening meal.

Day 6 - Okavango Delta ~ Victoria Falls

Take advantage of a sleep-in this morning before breakfast and the flight to Kasane. Cross the border into Zimbabwe and settle into your exceptional accommodation. Elephant Camp provides a luxurious closing chapter to your trip, with huge deluxe tents each boasting a private plunge pool. From some areas of the camp you can even see the spray and hear the thunder of the falls. During your stay you will visit the falls and can talk to your hosts about taking part in a number of other activities.

    Day 7 - Victoria Falls

Drive to the Victoria Falls area for an escorted tour. The views and the noise from the Devil’s Cataract are unforgettable, especially if the sun is out and rainbows dance in the spray and mist. The rest of the day is free to make your own discoveries. Visit markets, take a helicopter flight over the falls, walk with lions at one of the nearby parks, take tea at the grand Victoria Falls Hotel, board a boat trip on the river or meet the elephants at the nearby Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary. All activities can be arranged and paid for locally. Come together this evening for a sundowner and a meal followed by some time on the deck enjoying the silence or perhaps even the distant roar of the falls.
