Best of East Africa
This is the ultimate wildlife experience in Africa, encompassing an amazing array of landscapes that include lakes, savannahs and tropical rainforests. Lake Nakuru is the colourful ‘gem’ of the Great Rift Valley and its most famous soda lake with waters that are often filled with a multitude of pink flamingos. It makes for an awe-inspiring sight – both splendid and inspirational. The Masai Mara has often been referred to as ‘Mother Nature’s Playground’, with an abundance and concentration of wildlife not seen anywhere else on earth! Thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle graze the plains, whilst predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah lurk in the background. Uganda is sure to surprise us with scenic and cultural splendours that include rolling hills and friendly people, not to mention its large colonies of hippos in Queen Elizabeth National Park and chimpanzees in the Kibale Forest. Rwanda offers a primate experience like no other with a visit to the mountain gorillas – sure to be an emotional and memorable encounter.
