Classic Africa Safari
This adventure combines the best of East Africa with a comprehensive overland journey in southern Africa from breathtaking Victoria Falls to Cape Town – undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the world. On the plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara and within the caldera known as Ngorongoro Crater, we find the Africa of our dreams; places where an incredible abundance of wildlife can be seen roaming the wide savannahs in what has often been described as ‘nature’s playground’. Zanzibar is evocative in a different way. We relax on sandy tropical beaches and uncover layers of history in the atmospheric Stone Town. Southern Africa gives us wildlife encounters that take place against the backdrop of varied and contrasting terrains, from wetlands to salt pans and bright orange sandy deserts. We visit the magnificent Okavango Delta and perhaps the hidden jewel of African wildlife reserves – Etosha National Park. Fish River Canyon will astound us with its sheer size before we end our classic journey in the shadows of Table Mountain in Africa’s ‘Mother City’.
