| 12 | Visit Olduvai Gorge en route to our intimate tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Afternoon game drive. |
| 13 | Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. |
| 14 | Morning scheduled flight to Arusha, after lunch private transfer to Nairobi where our trip ends upon arrival (Sat). |

The total experience was great. The climb was comparatively easy for the first 6 days, however the last day when you summit is a 6 hour tough climb commencing at Midnight, generally in below Zero conditions and starting at an altitude above 5000 metres ( thin air). I found this exceptionally hard, and without the aid and re assurance of one of our porters, I would not have made it. Of the 13 on our trek, at least 6 experienced the same attention, and 12 summitted. The 13th was about 30 mins short ( about 100 metres), and was escorted down due to his physical condition.
