The road from Nairobi to Zanzibar takes us through some of the most magnificent nature reserves in Kenya and Tanzania, as well as the great geographical icons of Lake Victoria and Mount Kilimanjaro. The Masai Mara, Serengeti Plains and Ngorongoro Crater are renowned as veritable Gardens of Eden, where multitudes of wildlife exist, often side by side. Beyond the wildlife, we spend time on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro and in the Usambara Mountains before the journey to our final destination: the famed Spice Island of Zanzibar.

| 2 | We visit Lake Nakuru - renowned for its large concentration of flamingos. |
| 3 | Visit East Africa Mission Orphanage, then enjoy a boat ride on Lake Navaisha and spend a night in historic 'Elsamere'. |
| 4-5 | Safaris in the Masai Mara, home to one of the highest densities of wildlife on the continent. |
| 6 | Cross into Tanzania and head to the shores of Lake Victoria - Africa’s largest lake. |
| 7-8 | Drive to the Serengeti, unequalled for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife, spread over endless plains. |
| 9-10 | Game drive in world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Visit Mto Wa Mbu Masai village, then continue to Lake Manyara. |
| 11 | Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Continue via Arusha to Moshi, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. |
| 12 | Enjoy a walk on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, before descending back to Moshi. |
| 13 | Travel to Lushoto in the Usambara Mountains – visit a local farm and sample some of their produce. |
| 14 | Free day in the Usambara Mountains. Walk in the forest, visit local villages and perhaps spot some of the unusual animals that live here. |
| 15 | Explore the bustling port city of Dar es Salaam - Tanzania's largest city and former capital. |
| 16 - 17 | Depart for the exotic island of Zanzibar, known for its role in the spice trade. Time to explore the winding streets of Stone Town. |
| 18-19 | Morning transfer to the East coast. Free days to enjoy Zanzibar’s gorgeous beaches. Optional dolphin cruise, snorkelling and diving. |
| 20 | Tour ends this morning in Stone Town (Fri). |
