Tanzania Family Safari

Tanzania is home to some of Africa's friendliest people and and a wealth of amazing wildlife. Starting in Nairobi, we travel down to Arusha to spend time at a wonderful school before heading into Serengeti National Park for what is one of the world's greatest wildlife experiences. We spend two nights and days exploring the Serengeti from our lodge and game drive amongst the thousands of wildebeest and zebra. Leaving the dusty plains of the Serengeti behind we visit a Masai village to learn about their proud culture and heritage and to enjoy their dancing. Here we also have the chance to visit the local Masai school and even sit in their classroom! Next we explore Ngorongoro Crater, Africa's wildlife 'Garden of Eden', where we search of rhino, elephant, cheetah and lion. We explore Lake Manyara, where we see the flamingos on the soda lake and look out for the famous resident tree-climbing lions and finally Tarangire National Park, known for its huge herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. On this safari we stay in comfortable hotels and beautifully located safari lodges.

the people we met on our travels through kenya and tanzania were beautiful..it made me feel very humble that these people had so little{materially} and yet were always smiling. The people in samburu haven't had rain for over 2 years and very little for their stock to eat, but they keep smiling and made us so welcome when we visited their village.
