Kenya
The Big Five. The Great Rift Valley. Mount Kenya The Masai Mara. Sunset over acacia trees. The great migration. A sea of flamingos on Lake Nakuru. Kenya is the Africa of your imagination, able to conjure up in reality every image optimistic safari-goers hope for. From dawn drives and nature walks to a tented camp under the endless canopy of stars, with only sounds of the bush breaking the vast silence, exploring Kenya is by turns wildly romantic, wonderfully peaceful and impossibly adventurous.

Mt Kilimanjaro Climb - Rongai
Andrew - Bristol, UK, 03 Mar, 2013
The trip was well organised and the hotels used were of a good standard. Our guide, Frederick, and his team were fantastic. They answered every question, were patient and more than that were welcoming, friendly and only to happy to share their experiences and knowledge.
I had always wanted to reach the summit so that I could see the curvature of the earth, the peak of Maru through the cloud layer and the glaciers. We were fortunate to have a clear sunny day that allowed me to observe these things.

It is very difficult to imagine what it is going to be like, the sheer scale of the mountain is something to behold. Be as well prepared as you can, physically and mentally. You do not have to be super fit but have a dogged determination to keep going because summit day is a long, long day. We were on our feet for 14 hours.
