Spend a little bit more time in Madagascar and discover the idyllic west coast of Morondava. There’s plenty of time to try sailing, kayaking or simply lazing on the palm-fringed beach – you can't go wrong here!

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Antananarivo - Morondava
Meals included: 1 lunch, 1 dinner
Accommodation: Chez Maggie or similar, Morondava
Activities:
- This morning we transfer to Antananarivo's domestic airport for our flight to Morondava. Upon arrival at Morondava Airport we’ll be transferred to our accommodation for the next three nights. The afternoon is spent at your leisure.
Day 2-3: Morondava
Meals included: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners
Accommodation: Chez Maggie or similar, Morondava
Activities:
- Our time in Morondava is at your leisure to explore the local market places and shops. There are also a range of water activities to choose from including a traditional sailing trip on the Mozambique Channel, or you may simply decide to relax on one of Morondava’s stunning beaches.
- On the afternoon of Day 3, we visit the famous Avenue of the Baobabs in time for sunset when its renowned long shadows are most pronounced and its trees change hue with the setting sun. It’s no surprise that this is one of the most photographed spots in Madagascar.
Day 4: Morondava - Antananarivo
Meals included: 1 breakfast
Accommodation: Antananarivo, Antananarivo
Activities:
- After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for our flight back to Antananarivo where our tour ends on arrival.

Non-included Meals
Most meals are included on your trip (except for North America trips - please refer to your day-to-day itinerary). However, sometimes we think you'll benefit from getting out and discovering the local cuisine. So when a meal is not included, it's a great opportunity to try something new. For group trips, ask your leader for tips on where to get the best meal, or you might decide to dine out as a group and experience the fun together.

Visas and PermitsIt is your responsibility to ensure you have all required visas for your trip. Rules and regulations governing the issuance of visas are constantly changing, and vary for different nationalities and you should check visa requirements with your travel agent or relevant consular authority well before travel.
Madagascar
All foreign visitors to the Republic of Madagascar require entry visas. A tourist visa valid for a maximum 30 days is free and can be obtained on arrival. To obtain a visa at the airport, you must produce the following:
1. A return airline ticket (the length of the visa will be issued according to the dates of your airline ticket).
2. A passport with 6 months validity from your date of return.
3. A trip itinerary.
You are required to have travel insurance before heading off on a Peregrine trip. Insurance can be organised by your Peregrine representative or your travel agent.
