Antarctica Peninsula

Antarctica

The seventh continent should be on every intrepid traveller's wish list. As spellbinding, savage and isolated as the planet gets, this frozen world supports a rich and varied wildlife and a lifetime’s supply of devastating vistas. Exploring the Antarctic Peninsula is simply unforgettable: zodiac boat landings on the diverse South Shetland Islands; watching whales breach; sailing past gigantic tabular icebergs; standing in awe as glaciers calve; taking in the otherworldly light of the frigid wastes that engulf you. A place of extremes, of timeless landscapes, home only to spectacular wildlife and the world’s most adventurous travellers.

Most memorable moment - kayaking with Minke whales on a glass-like ocean, no wind with a cloudless sky and only the sound of cracking glaciers and whales coming up for air to break the silence was one of the most unforgettable afternoons.

Our Favourite Trips

"The absolutely stunning scenery of the Antarctic Peninsula. All the pre-voyage reading I did had not prepared me for grandeur of the crags, glaciers, ice cliffs, and icebergs."
