Peregrine Adventures

PHOTOGRAPHY, ART & WILDLIFE VOYAGE

6 November – 30 November 2009
Falklands, South Georgia & Antarctica 24-nights

Our most complete and varied Antarctic adventure to the extraordinary Falkland Islands and diverse sub-Antarctic islands and Antarctic Peninsula will this year focus on the visual arts. With experienced commercial photographer John Rodsted and renowned wildlife artist, Brett Jarrett aboard, this voyage will truly focus on the needs of the photographer and artist. Early morning and late night excursions to both the shore and in amongst the ice will maximise access to low and glancing light, and the pace of travel will slow in destinations of the greatest beauty so we can thoroughly explore, exercising patience to get that ‘magic image’. The longer voyage and more leisurely pace also increase the likelihood of some very special wildlife encounters.
