From the moment we hit the ground in Africa in the 1980s we’ve been taking travellers on adventures all over the continent. We’ve canoed down the Zambezi, trekked up Kilimanjaro and listened to sultry jazz in Saint-Louis.
And while we still get among the culture and off the beaten track wherever we can, many of our trips in Africa focus on wildlife. Our local leaders know the tracks to follow to find the lionesses with their cubs, the leopard lazing in a tree and the rhinos grazing with buffalo in tow.
Botswana’s one of those places where up-close wildlife encounters seem like a regular event. Our Copywriter, Kellie, came back from Botswana with stories of cheetahs versus wildebeest, honey badgers riffling through camp, tracking lions in Chobe National Park and hippos galore in Okavango Delta.
Watch one of Kellie’s unforgettable moments - this encounter with a baby elephant and its mum in Moremi Game Reserve:
