Its 19th-century colonial architecture is one thing, but the spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda is quite another. On this independent trip you’ll take in the dramatic presence of this mythical Buddhist spire and its fascinating backstory, from its roots in Hindu astrology to its diamond-studded, gold-plated stupa.
