Turkey Tours & Holidays

Overflowing with Mediterranean energy and Middle Eastern hospitality, Turkey feels like a continent unto itself.

With Greco-Roman ruins, sun-drenched Turquoise Coast, tiny hillside villages, delicately decorated minarets, and the world’s most spectacular historic mosques – Turkey is impossible to pigeonhole. If you know where to look among the shifting mountain backdrops, you’ll find one-of-a-kind sights and experiences that set up camp in your heart. Break bread (and the fast) with new friends during Ramazan in the courtyard of the 17th century Blue Mosque. Explore the hand-forged cave churches of Cappadocia in a landscape of towering wind-carved fairy chimneys. Sink your teeth into a gozleme filled with vegies you pulled from the dirt yourself. Discover Turkey with a local who is passionate about the land they call home.

Taste of Istanbul

Marlene · Traveled March 2024
Our Taste of Istanbul Tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Unsol was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made our time in Istanbul very special. We had two days in Istanbul after finishing another Intrepid tour in Spain, Portugal and Morocco before joining this Istanbul toùr. We then stayed on for two days after the tour and Unsol made some excellent suggestions for additional activities, which we really enjoyed. This tour also gave us an opportunity to have a break before our long trip home to Australia. Highly recommended.

Six Days in Turkey

Would not recommend. This trip is like an RyanAir or Jetstar Flight. You'll think it's a good deal and sign up for it, but then you'll find anything that's worth adding to the trip will come out of your pocket and will end up costing a fortune. You won't be doing anything in Antalya and Konya as you'll end up there at night - so forget doing anything there. The Ceramics Workshop section is rip-off - you'll find the things they sell elsewhere for a fraction of the price. They have original piece but those cost as much as the tour. Just plan a trip yourself and start in Cappadocia or Istanbul, you'll probs get more for your money that way.

An incredible tour that has made me fall in love with Turkey. Every location was unique and interesting, with the trips between them equally as fun! Our tour leader was incredibly knowledgeable and really elevated our experience of the country. Amazing food, people, history and views!
