Prague to Dresden Wanderer (self guided)
Starting in the pearl of Eastern Europe, the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic, this self-guided walk takes you through fairytale Bohemian countryside and peaceful river landscapes to the magnificent city of Dresden in Germany, restored to its pre World War II former glory. As you follow the tranquil landscapes of the Elbe River, you will encounter historical hilltop castles, beautifully restored chateaux and a wonderful mix of nature from national parks to meandering river valleys. Special highlights include a hike up the mighty Rip Mountain, a legendary place in Czech folklore and a walk into stunning Czech and Saxon Switzerland National Park where you’ll encounter deep canyons and naturally sculptured rock formations such as the impressive Pravcicka Gate. This is a unique walk through some of the most attractive scenery of central Europe.
