Pathways of the Amalfi Coast (self-guided)
The Amalfi Coast offers travellers some of the world’s most breathtaking coastal scenery and an incredible range of walks. On this self-guided tour, you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of culture and nature. Ancient mule tracks and stone stairways will link you between beautiful villages and remote farmsteads whilst winding pathways along cliff faces will reward you with the most stunning coastal vistas. You’ll explore the villages of Ravello with its impressive villas and gardens and Scala; one of the oldest villages of the coast. The famed Footpath of the Gods walk will lead you through terraced vineyards, lush vegetation and ancient hamlets to the charming town of Positano. A full-day is also devoted to exploring the beautiful island of Capri, the once popular holiday spot of Roman Emperors. This trip will showcase some of the coastline's most famous spots as well as the hidden treasures.
Itinerary

| 1 | Arrive Amalfi. |
| 2 | Transfer by local bus to Ravello. Walk through vineyards and lemon groves to the town of Atrani, before returning to Amalfi (1.5-2 hrs). |
| 3 | From Scala, walk via hamlet of Campidoglio through the Valle delle Ferriere. Descend through lush forest to the little village of Pogerola. Beautiful medieval staircase leads you back to Amalfi (5 hrs). |
| 4 | Walk to the village of Pontone and up to Torre dello Ziro; enjoy views over Atrani. Walk through the ‘Valle dei Mulini’ (Valley of the Mills) via fairytale landscape and 11th century ruins. Return to Amalfi (4-5 hrs). |
| 5 | Walk Italy’s famous ‘Sentiero degli Dei’ (Footpath of the Gods) through spectacular scenery of rock formations and lush vegetation. Descend to Positano (4-5 hrs). |
| 6 | From Montepertuso, enjoy a wonderful walk around the valley of Positano. Ascend towards the old fortress of Santa Maria al Castello. Enjoy views over the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Naples (4-5 hrs). |
| 7 | Free day in Positano. Optional boat trip to the island of Capri. |
| 8 | Trip ends after breakfast in Positano. |
