    • Starting in the the Unesco World Heritage listed city of Bergen, this trip will take you through areas that boast some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
    • Riding the Flåm Railway is a truly incredible experience. Aside from the majesty of the surrounds, the railway itself is a feat of engineering genius.
    • Cruising along the Aurlands and Nærøy Fjords, both branches of the deepest and longest fjord in the world, to the beautiful and historic town of Balestrand is captivating.
    • Having the opportunity to visit the biggest glacier in the world (Jostedal Glacier) and the admire views of the most beautiful glacier in the world (Briksdal Glacier) is truly memorable.
    • Cruising along the stunning Geiranger Fjord, considered to be the most beautiful in the region, and past the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters waterfalls is a highlight of the trip.

    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Arrive Bergen

    • Your trip will start in the Unesco World Heritage listed city of Bergen, surrounded by seven fjords and seven hills.
    • There are no activities planned for the day, so you are welcome to arrive at any time.
    • If you arrive early, we recommend getting out and exploring this beautiful city. Perhaps you could visit the local outdoor fish market, or go for a meander along Vagen Harbour.

    Day 2 - Bergen - Flam - Balestrand

    • This morning you will board the incredible Flåm Railway, a feat of engineering genius that climbs to 2,838 feet in less than an hour. You will enjoy spectacular scenery of waterfalls and snow-capped mountains from the train, as well as witnessing some historical traditions that pre-date Christianity.
    • Upon disembarking the train in Flåm, you will take a short cruise along the Aurlands and Nærøy Fjords. These are both branches of the Sogn Fjord, which is both the longest and deepest in the world. This two hour journey will carry you past more tumbling waterfalls and sheer mountain peaks, as well as some local wildlife.
    • You will then enjoy an afternoon ferry crossing to the resort town of Balestrand.

    Day 3 - Balestrand

    • Today starts with a short walking tour through the historic village of Balestrand. There are a number of noteworthy sites to visit here.
    • The afternoon will be at your leisure, so you can enjoy this delightful spot. You can choose to explore the town by bicycle or rowboat, or perhaps climb one of the nearby mountains on foot. You may also choose to just sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds.

    Day 4 - Balestrand - Geiranger

    • Today you will take an excursion to the Jostedal Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe. You will also visit the world famous Briksdal Glacier, where you can enjoy a cable car trip with breathtaking views. This is truly a site to behold.
    • From Briksdal Glacier you will make your way to Geiranger. The Geiranger Fjord is reputed to be the most beautiful of all of the Norwegian Fjords.

    Day 5 - Geiranger

    • Today you will have the opportunity to cruise along the stunning Geiranger Fjord, considered by many to be the most beautiful fjord of all.
    • From the boat you will encounter some of the most gorgeous waterfalls in the region, including the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters waterfalls.
    • You will enjoy a farewell dinner tonight with your fellow travellers.

    Day 6-7 - Geiranger - Oslo

    • Today you will drive to the capital Oslo, where your tour will come to an end at approximately 6pm.
    • If you are travelling onward from Oslo today please keep your arrival time in Oslo in mind.
