Highlight of Highlights - Pick of the trip
Palmyra's History and Bedouin HospitalityPalmyra's history dates back to the Assyrian Empire but its ‘Golden Age’ was during the first two centuries A.D, first as a Greek city and then as part of the Roman Empire. We'll have plenty of time to explore the site. In the late afternoon, we'll make our way up to the Arab castle for an amazing sunset over Palmyra then head out to a Bedouin tent to enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.
