Bookended by the Mosque of Omar and the Church of the Nativity, Manger Square is nowadays blessedly traffic-free, its long tree-lined plaza makes for a great coffee pit-stop and to people-watch in this, the site of the world’s oldest church, and the hub of Bethlehem’s religious activity.
