A fast boat down the Devil’s Throat is an unforgettable – and unforgettably wet – way to get up close and personal with Iguazu’s monster waterfall. Bounce past some of the national park’s 250 waterfalls until you reach the big one, a crashing, hypnotic white-foamed thundering cataract, truly one of nature’s great sights. But the park isn’t just cliffs and cascades, a tour around its quieter reaches plants you firmly in verdant rainforest, with capuchin monkeys and toucans regularly sighted, and, for the very lucky, big cats and tapir.
