Hikers rejoice! Glacier National Park boasts 1,125 kilometres of walking trails, each one more spectacular than the last. Experience Glacier's pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes. Located in Montana, it borders the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia to the North and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation to the East. Spreading for over 1 million acres Glacier has 300 lakes, more than 1,100 different species of plants, 400 species of moss and hundreds of species of animals. Despite its remoteness, the park draws over 2.7 million visitors a year.
