Teotihuacan's Pyramids of the Sun and Moon

Teotihuacan's Pyramids of the Sun and Moon

The view from the Pyramid of the Moon is best to take in the majestic sweep of Teotihuacan, the ancient Aztec ruins outside Mexico City only rivalled in size and grandeur by the great pyramids of Egypt.  Ruins down both sides of the Avenue of the Dead and onto the Pyramid of the Sun are the intricately designed remnants of a once elaborate and advanced culture, and walking their length and climbing their steps you’ll learn of the religion, agriculture, art, science, construction, relationships and rituals of what, for centuries, remained the throbbing heart of the greatest empire in the world.
