Egypt & Jordan Adventure
The monuments and grand landscapes of Egypt and Jordan reveal their mythic past and exotic charm on this wonderful journey from the pyramids to Petra. Revel in the mysteries and magnificence of the Sphinx, Karnak and Valley of the Kings, before a comfortable four-day cruise along the Nile River. From Amman, we delve deep into Jordan, visiting the ancient Roman town of Jerash, bobbing about high and bouyant in the high-salt Dead Sea and discovering the legendary temples of Petra. We enjoy a full day's exploration of Petra’s carved constructions and canyons before heading to Wadi Rum where we stay as guests of the Bedouin. On camel-back, we pad into the dunes to experience the vast, desolate climes of Wadi Rum and, in swimmers and sun hat, take time to relax in the Red Sea coastal town of Aqaba. A tour of Amman rounds out this amazing Arabic adventure.
