  • Why we love United States

    • The epic and open spaces of Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Ranier National Parks have the capacity to strike awe into even the most seasoned traveler
    • Miami’s art deco district strikes a note unlike any other. San Francisco and Austin rarely fail to charm
    • The seat of American independence and Kennedy hometown, Boston, will fascinate lovers of history.
    • Stay at the fabulous Wawona Hotel in Yosemite, built in 1879 to accommodate visitors to the giant sequoia trees at nearby Mariposa Grove. Surrounded by lush meadows and babbling streams, formidable figures of history including Presidents Ulysses S. Grant and Theodore Roosevelt have walked these famous verandas and considered the vast natural beauty surrounding them
    • Alaska provides some of the most amazing landscapes on earth. Despite being a part of a continent that contains many of the great cities, the mountains, lakes and glaciers here remain pristine and uncrowded. Some of our tours here journey into the Arctic Circle and to the outer reaches of the human frontier
    • When we stay at Kachemak Bay on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, we stay in the tented cabins of the Across the Bay Wilderness Camp where you’re not just looking at stunning views, you’re staying right in the middle of them
    • In Banff National Park, we stay at the beautiful mountain chalets of Tunnel Mountain Resort

    Safety information

The safety of our passengers, leaders and operators is one of our main priorities. We keep a close eye on world events, and make operational decisions based on informed advice.

Small group travel means that getting around is easier, so if a problem does arise it can be dealt with in a much smoother and hassle-free way. Our leaders are local and speak English fluently, so if something goes wrong during the trip, they know how to get help efficiently and effectively. Our local leaders are all first-aid trained and their training is kept up-to-date with regular refresher courses.

We provide you with emergency numbers before you travel, this includes a 24-hour emergency number as a back-up while you’re on your holiday.

Safety updates: there are currently no travel alerts in this country.
