4 days from US $1,145 pp twin share
This short adventure is a fantastic addition to your South American holiday and a great introduction to the Amazon region. The Amazon Basin contains the biggest river by volume and the largest tropical rainforest in the world. We explore this amazing environment, discovering the rich biodiversity of the jungle. We travel by boat in search of the rare pink Amazonian dolphin and visit the Yagua native community. Our expert guides will help us to discover the wildlife and will explain the many uses of the diverse flora of the region. Our trip concludes with a stroll through the port city of Iquitos – generally considered the most populous city in the world that cannot be reached by road.
