If you want to hike the Classic Inca Trail, our advice is Book Early! Inca Trail permits are on request.
Each day a limited number of people can start the Inca Trail trek. Allocations are not allowed and permits are often sold out 4-5 months in advance. As soon as we receive your deposit and your full passport details we will request a permit for you.
If we are unable to confirm the Classic Inca Trail permit, you can hike the equally stunning Lares trail in its place.
Inca Heartland
Peru has long captured the imagination of adventure travellers from all over the world. From Lima we fly to Cusco – the imperial Inca capital. We visit the Sacred Valley before setting off on a camping trek following old Inca pathways. Our destination is the magnificent mountain-top ruins of Machu Picchu. A spectacular bus journey then takes us across the barren, windswept plains of the Altiplano to sparkling Lake Titicaca, offering a complete contrast to the bustling human activity witnessed in Cusco. Here, we stay with a local family on one of the islands and enjoy a unique insight into the life of the local indigenous people. Our final excursion takes us to the ancient burial chambers at Sillustani, before we catch our flight back to Lima.
