| 11 | Fly to Sandakan. City tour including World War II memorial, then drive to Sepilok orang-utan sanctuary. |
| 12 | Boat to ecotourism rainforest lodge. Afternoon boat ride on Menanggul and Kinabatangan Rivers. |
| 13 | Wildlife river cruise on Kinabatangan River to oxbow lake. Jungle walk. |
