It’s the place where city chaos meets Buddhist serenity, tuk tuks thunder past golden Buddhas, and smiles are doled out at every turn.
Discover Thailand, the Land of Smiles, a country renown for its ever-friendly locals. Here you’ll unearth a nation with so much more than happiness to offer. There’s the ancient capital of Sukhothai, with its sleek Buddhas and weatherworn pagodas. There’s the glittering temple complex at Doi Suthep and the night bazaars of Chang Mai. As you cruise through Bangkok’s canals and rivers, you might just find the best way to experience the country – but then there’s the massages and the world-famous food.
What people say
My mom and I did the Thailand Unearthed trip and had so much fun. Seeing the sun set at Doi Sutheep temple in Chiang Mai was amazing. The temples and people were wonderful. And the best part was the cooking class where we tried several dishes and brought home a recipe book to try at home!

If entering by air you will be granted a 30 day stay on arrival.
If entering by a land border, you will be granted a 15 day stay only (exceptions are citizens of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Germany and Japan who are eligible for 30 day visa at land borders). A visa extension can be obtained in Thailand at an immigration office for approx. 2000THB or alternatively you can apply for a Thailand visa in advance from your embassy or consulate that will allow a 30 day stay when entering at an overland border.
If planning to enter Thailand via a land border multiple times during your travels, we recommend you pre-obtain a 60 day multiple entry visa from you embassy or consulate before you travel rather than attempting to obtain a visa at the border on multiple occasions which may result in being denied re-entry into the country.
