Sri Lanka Tours & Holidays

Pristine rainforest. Ancient rock fortresses. Wildlife aplenty. And some of the most perfect beaches on the planet. There are so many reasons to visit Sri Lanka.

One day you could be hiking the Knuckles Mountain Range, high in Sri Lanka’s hill country; the next, travelling by train through tea plantations and into the mountains. And when you start each morning with curry, hoppers and a cup of the local tea, you know it’s going to be a good day. Climb Lion Rock, a dramatic carved-rock fortress in Sigiriya, and explore Jaffna in the island’s north, previously off-limits to travellers. The only struggle you’ll have in Sri Lanka is knowing where to start.

Simply Sri Lanka

I travelled to Sri Lanka with my partner. Overall, we quite enjoyed the trip. We Loved our tour guide, Nandana; he made all the difference for our trip. For the cost of the trip, transportation and accommodation were good. We went during the hot season so sunscreen and bug spray were essential. Food was great, too. Sri Lankans are such friendly people.

Sri Lanka Real Food Adventure

Robert · Traveled April 2024
Real Food Sri Lanka was a great way to see parts of Sri Lanka not possible with independent travel. We met and ate at mostly local peoples homes where we were welcomed and looked after, in some cases entertained. Group leader was outstanding, a passionate, thoughtful and sensitive man. The trip was varied and well paced, plenty to do each day., not just food oriented either. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Sri Lanka: Hike, Bike & Kayak

Francisco · Traveled April 2024
The trip is focused on dedicating time to do the physical activities rather than dedicating time to explore the country on your own. The experience is good but if you are looking for a well balanced trip, this is not it. there is little time to explore on your own unless you decide not to do the activities with the rest of the group. I felt that the itinerary is not yet optimized to make the most out of time in each location dedicating a little too long to the physical activities or the transportation to them leaving some very interesting points of interest out in favor of an extra hour or 2 at a kayak or a bike. The activities on their own are not too demanding, yet at least the bike, require you have a little experience in road cycling so you feel more confident when you start the ride in busy streets or roads.

Sri Lanka: Hike, Bike & Kayak

Valeria · Traveled April 2024
We had a great time during this tour! Sri Lanka is a beautiful country full of great landscapes and culture! Our guide, Vidu, made it ever more special! However, be aware that this trip, as it is now, is not only more challenging than advertised, but for the cycling part you need to be confident to ride on a steep route with cars along (I’ve never done route cycling before and was definitely very anxious for it). Also, be aware there might be some leeches along different parts of the trip 🪱 if you are looking for a trip that will take you to all temples and cultural sites, this is not it, but if you’re looking for an active holiday with some cultural bits, this is your perfect kind of trip!
