The Special Conditions set out below, apply to the trips and themes noted below, and deviate from the standard Booking Conditions. Except as specified the standard Booking Conditions otherwise apply to your trip.

The following conditions apply to trips on the Ocean Endeavor ship to the Antarctic. 

  • Clause 3 (Deposit requirement): 
    • You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the full voyage cost (before any discount) per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed. If your booking is made within 95 days of the departure date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
  • Clause 4 (Acceptance of booking and final payments): 
    • A contract will exist between you and us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice or if you book within 95 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept your payment. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments, including how to make the payment. Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 95 days before the departure date. 
  • Clause 7 (Cancellation by you):
    • If you cancel a trip:
      • 30 days or more before departure we will hold the amount of monies paid on credit for a future booking to be taken before 23 March 2023.  Please note that this change of departure date without fee can be applied only once. 
      • fewer than 30 days before departure the cancellation fee is 100% of monies paid.  
    • Please note that customers booking in the United Kingdom and Europe may have additional rights when cancelling due to “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances”. Please refer to clause 7 of the Booking Conditions. 
  • Clause 8 (Cancellation by us):
    • If you accept a 110% credit resulting from a cancellation under clause 8 of the Booking Conditions, the credit for a future booking must be taken before 23 March 2023.

The following conditions apply to trips run by our partner Quark to both Antarctica and the Arctic region.

  • Clause 3 (Deposit requirement): 
    • You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the full voyage cost (before any discount) per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed. If your booking is made within 120 days of the departure date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
  • Clause 4 (Acceptance of booking and final payments): 
    • A contract will exist between you and us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice or if you book within 120 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept your payment. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments, including how to make the payment. Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 120 days before the departure date. 
  • Clause 7 (Cancellation by you):
    • If a booking is cancelled 120 days or more before departure - the cancellation fee is the full loss of the deposit paid. 
    • If a booking is cancelled fewer than 120 days before departure - the cancellation fee is 100% of the total price of the voyage. 
    • Please note that customers booking in the United Kingdom and Europe may have additional rights when cancelling due to “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances”. Please refer to clause 7 of the Booking Conditions. 

The following conditions apply to trips operated by our partner Variety Cruises:

  • Clause 3 (Deposit requirement):
    • You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of AUD600, USD600, EUR400, NZD600, GBP300, CAD600, CHF450, ZAR6,000 per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed. If your booking is made within 90 days of the departure date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
  • Clause 3 (Deposit requirement): 
    • All trips requiring a gorilla permit involve a higher non-refundable deposit (AUD 1000, USD 1000, EUR 800, NZD 1250, GBP 650, CAD 1000, ZAR 8000, CHF 900) in order to secure the included gorilla permit. Please note that we need to confirm availability of a gorilla permit if you are booking within 45 days of departure before confirming your booking

Booking Conditions for our Tailor-Made trips vary depending on the location and type of itinerary being prepared. Our Tailor-Made team will inform you of the applicable conditions for your trip at the time of booking.

Please note that if you have purchased flights in addition to your Peregrine itinerary, for example, flights to and from your trip, different payment terms to those set out in the Standard Booking Conditions may apply. You will be advised of these differences at the time of booking.
