Highlights of Borneo

Bako National Parki
To the north-east of Kuching, in the Malaysian Borneo state of Sarawak, you’ll find Bako National Park. Covering the Muara Tebas Peninsula, this coastal park is home to the quirky proboscis monkey and its exceptionally large nose, as well as some incredible beaches, dense jungle and a whole host of creatures including long-tailed macaque monkeys, wild boars and monitor lizards. This is a must-see destination for wildlife lovers and hikers.

Pulau Tiga National Park
Located off Sabah’s coastline, this tropical island is the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing and snorkelling over coral reefs. The reality TV show ‘Survivor’ was once filmed here, but with a delicious beach barbecue survival will be the last of your worries. In fact, you’ll never want to leave.

Bandar Seri Begawan
The capital of tiny Brunei is a fascinating city known for its incredibly palatial mosque. Get to know this rarely visited region on a city tour including a visit to Kampong Ayer, a centuries-old water village built over the Brunei River.
