Latin sounds and Inca ruins come to mind– but they all lie within a tremendous landscape of Amazon, Andes and hilltop lakes.
There are few things as rewarding as driving through the Bolivian countryside, over the colossal ridge which suddenly reveals sparkling La Paz splayed out before you. Or landing in Rio, beneath a giant statue of Jesus lording over a city of hedonism and dance. Nothing quite compares to flying through Iguazu Falls, or over Peru’s baffling geoglyphs, drawn into the sand hundreds of years ago. Meet the villagers who built their own islands on the sacred Lake Titicaca, or the playful seal cubs at the Galapagos Islands. This is the experience of awesome South America.

South America is definitely a must do. Jenni and I were both blown away with everything we saw and did. Accomodation was wonderful. Food was out of this world and our Peregrine Tour Guide, Ale, sealed the deal. Thank you for a magical trip. Can’t recommend it all highly enough. Jan

Be prepared to be amazed at the kaleidoscope of adventures and experiences you'll have on this trip! Peru's history, culture and natural and built wonders are fascinating, this is definitely a trip to put on your bucket list. Sturdy hiking boots are a must (I found Merrell to be excellent).

A great holiday with Peregrine. Places to see and things to do were obviously selected with care. Our group leader was brilliant and it's thanks to him that a good time was had by all.
