Pickpocketing can be an issue in Athens, especially on public transport. If you keep your valuables concealed and secure while travelling on the metro or bus, you should have no problems.

Due to the current financial situation, banking services in Greece could become limited at short notice. It's important to carry several different means of payment with you, such as debit cards, credit cards and plenty of Euros in case of emergency or unforseen circumstances.
As accommodation on this trip is twin share, single travellers will share a room with another traveller of the same gender. If you’d prefer not to share, a single-room supplement is available at an additional charge. On the other hand, sharing is a great opportunity to chat with like-minded travellers. Note that some hotels in Europe do not have double beds, but often two single beds that can be pushed together.

Highlights of Greece, June 2016
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip of Ancient Greece. I was amazed by the fact that the temples we saw were built around the 5th century BC and were exquisitely carved. Our guide Stadi was wonderful and knew the history and mythology so well that she brought the sights to life for us.
